Machine Question No.13 - Operation of 3 phase induction motor as synchronous motor
it is possible to operate the 3 phase induction motor as synchronous motor?
if it is then please let me know how it can be done?

No, it is impossible basically.
Electromagnetic induction torque creation is just possible in asynchrony condition.

yes that is possible if you have a induction motor with a wound rotor

No,it's impossible because of having a slip.Doesn't matter it's wound rotor or cage rotor induction motor.

If you put a DC current trough the rotorwindings, the machine will operate like a synchronous motor.  You have to decrease the power.
